Low cost telemedicine, on demand laboratory tests, and discount high quality vitamins
Simply put, virtual healthcare offers enhanced accessibility, convenience, cost savings, and continuity of care while minimizing risks. It provides busy individuals with easy access to medical services on the go and enables those in rural, remote, or underserved areas—or with mobility challenges—to receive care without leaving home. Scheduling appointments at your convenience and avoiding long waits in medical offices are additional benefits. Moreover, it allows for closer monitoring of chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, or asthma and helps reduce the spread of infections by allowing patients with contagious illnesses to stay home while still receiving necessary medical attention.
Absolutely! At TelehealthVA, we offer flexible options to meet your healthcare needs. Whether you choose to have us as your primary provider or to complement the care you're already receiving, our services are designed to fit seamlessly into your routine. You’re welcome to access our services for specific concerns or ongoing support, and if you prefer, we can collaborate with your regular provider to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive approach to your care.
We do not accept insurance because operating outside the insurance system allows us to deliver more personalized, efficient care. This approach ensures our patients enjoy transparent, predictable costs and a more direct, individualized relationship with their healthcare provider.
We provide our services for a straightforward fee paid at the time of your visit. Our fee is often more affordable than an in-person visit for uninsured individuals and is comparable to, or sometimes lower than, the typical copay for those with insurance. Plus, there are no surprise bills or hidden fees for your visit with us— what you see is exactly what you pay. One flat fee, one simple payment—nothing more!
Unfortunately, the cost of your medication and any cost for such services are not included in our fees. The services are offered by separate organizations that set their own pricing/fees. However, in most cases, your health insurance will still cover the cost of ordered services and medications as they normally would if covered under your plan. We can also help coordinate any additional services you may need and guide you toward the most cost-effective options based on your situation. Our priority is to work with you to find the best solution that aligns with your healthcare and budgetary needs. .
Our prices are lower because we are able to eliminate the overhead costs associated with traditional medical offices, such as rent, utilities, and in-office staff, allowing us to pass the savings directly to you. Moreover, our commitment to prioritizing patient care over profit ensures we only charge what is necessary for our services, avoiding any markups that others often apply.
At TelehealthVA, we provide a clear list of conditions upfront when scheduling to help identify those that may require care beyond our services. Additionally, we conduct a thorough assessment of your condition and medical history. If we determine that in-person care is necessary or would be more beneficial, we will promptly notify you and assist in finding the appropriate care tailored to your specific needs. Your well-being is our highest priority, and we are dedicated to always prioritizing your health over profit.

Before scheduling an appointment with our telehealth practice, there are a couple of important things to keep in mind:
Medical Cannabis Certification
As mentioned, assessments for Medical Cannabis Certification must be conducted via video. Phone visits are not an option. You must also have proof of Virginia residency (temporary or permanent) at the time of your visit for the provider to review. Please note, issuance of a medical cannabis certificate is not guaranteed and is based on qualifying medical conditions as determined by a licensed healthcare provider.
Billing: Telemedva LLC does not participate in any insurance plans. This means we will not bill your insurance provider or submit claims on your behalf. If you choose to seek reimbursement for services, it will be your responsibility to handle any paperwork or claims with your insurance provider.
Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations: Payment is required at the time of booking your visit. We ask for a 24-hour notice for any appointment cancellations. If you cancel late or miss your appointment, a $20 fee will be charged to the credit card on file. We do understand that unexpected situations can arise, and exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for circumstances beyond your control.
We look forward to helping you with your healthcare needs and are here to answer any further questions you may have!
The landscape of telehealth regulation is complex, with state laws governing overall telehealth practice and both state and federal laws controlling medication prescribing. This creates a fundamental difference between multi-state and single-state providers.
Multi-state telehealth providers face a challenging regulatory maze:
In contrast, single state based providers can practice more comprehensively because they:
This focused approach allows TelehealthVA, a single state provider in Virginia, to offer more comprehensive care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Basically, rather than navigating 50 different regulatory frameworks, we can excel within one.
Our remote health solution includes a smart device used to perform a physical assessment with store and forward capabilities. This service is optional and the cost of the device is additional to your visit fee. The device allows you to capture key health data using included attachments (like a stethoscope, otoscope, and thermometer) that you can forward to your provider at TelehealthVA for a thorough review. The data provided will help your provider come to a precise diagnoses as well as offer advice and/or prescribe medication when appropriate—all without you needing to go anywhere. For more information, please discuss with your provider.
Additionally, we provide remote drug screening via a video visit. This process is convenient, private, and ensures that your provider can verify and interpret the results immediately without the need for an in-person visit. This visit requires a test to be ordered and delivered to your home. For more information, please discuss with your provider.
